Wallpapers that react to music

The Reactor collection is a set of shaders that listen to whatever is playing on your computer and move with it. Play a playlist, a video or a game and the background pulses in time: waves rise with the bass, the topography shifts with the vocals, the equalizer follows every beat.

Nothing is recorded. PrimoEngine only measures loudness and frequencies, and only while an audio-reactive wallpaper is on screen. Sensitivity goes from subtle to intense. On a Mac, the app asks for the System Audio Recording permission the first time.

Pulse and Origami Tunnel are free forever, so you can try it before paying for anything.
